Firing guidelines
Work that doesn’t meet these goes back unfired.
- Greenware for bisque is bone dry.
- Glaze is wiped off the foot, at least ¼" up the side (or the piece is stilted).
- Clay and glazes are rated for the cone you booked.
- Your initials are on the bottom of every piece.
- New or untested glazes sit on a cookie or are flagged in your notes.
- Work fits inside the shelf space you booked.
